Terms and Conditions for Van Dyks’ Matamata Grand Opening La-Z-Boy Giveaway.

  1. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to participants who meet the following criteria:
    • Reside in and are a resident for tax purposes of New Zealand only.
    • Are not employees of Van Dyks or their affiliates, nor members of their immediate families or households.
  2. Entry: To enter, participants must make a purchase at Van Dyks Matamata store only to enter the draw to win a La-Z-Boy Arrow recliner & footstool in ‘Enjoy Graphite’ colour. Entrants must join Club Van Dyks and opt-in to communications via email and phone.
  3. Duration: The giveaway commences 18 September 2024 and ends at midnight 15 October 2024 Auckland/Wellington NZDT. Only entries submitted before the deadline will be considered.
  4. Prize: The winner will receive 1 x La-Z-Boy Arrow recliner & 1 x Arrow footstool in ‘Enjoy Graphite’ colour only. As defined in the terms, the prize is non-transferable, and there will be no cash alternatives to it. Van Dyks reserves the right to substitute the prize with a product or service of equal value.
  5. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries by the deadline via a randomised draw mechanic. The winner will be notified via their preferred Club Van Dyks communication selected at the time of opt-in. The winner will be drawn and notified within 7 working days from the closure of the giveaway. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, another winner will be selected.
  6. Publicity: By participating in the giveaway, the winner agrees to allow Van Dyks to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation, including but not limited to publishing the winner on Van Dyks social media platforms.
  7. Liability: Van Dyks is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants, or their property related to their participation in the giveaway. Participants agree to release and hold Van Dyks and their affiliates free from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
  8. Governing Law: The giveaway and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed per the laws of New Zealand.
  9. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from or related to the giveaway, or these terms and conditions will be resolved through binding arbitration per the rules of The Disputes Tribunal and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.
  10. Modification: Van Dyks reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway without notice. Van Dyks also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
