Our Delivery Policy
- Quick delivery: We aim to dispatch and deliver your order to you as quickly as possible. Small Appliances we aim to dispatch within 24 hours
- Delivery Method and Labelling: Your selections will be delivered to your door via Courier, Freight forward company or by our Internal delivery guys
- Signature Required: All deliveries will require a signature unless specifically stated by you.
- Dispatch Notification: We will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched.
- Delivery Times: We aim to deliver within 7 working days if your item is in stock. All back orders will be delivered within 21 days unless personally notified. Website orders outside of our Van Dyks Free Delivery Area are sent via couriers and there can be delays outside of Van Dyks control.
- Pick Up: Products can be picked up from our Putaruru Mega Store.
- Stock levels: Due to increased demand and supplier delays website items may not always be in stock. We endeavor to let you know as soon as possible if your order is affected and apologise for any inconvenience this causes. Call our appliance team on 07-883-7309 during open hours if you wish to check stock level before purchase.
- Pricing: Savings are off our suggested retail prices. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, print errors or misprints.
- Appliance Removal: We offer a convenient appliance removal service for just $60, exclusively for customers who purchase their new whiteware appliance from us. This service includes disposal and degassing of your old appliance, taking the hassle out of your upgrade. Please note: Due to the potential need to reuse old fittings for safe and proper installation, oven removal cannot be included in this service.
- All website orders and deliveries are door to door and do not include installation
Returns Policy
If, after purchase, you change your mind on your product selection please call our store during business hours:
- If we have not processed your order, then we will happily refund your purchase free of charge.
- If the order has been processed a 10% handling cost will apply.
- If your product has been shipped but is unopened and is still in its original condition, please get in touch via email regarding the return request. Cost of the original shipping and a 10% handling cost will apply if the product is returned.
Important: The product must be unopened, and the packaging must still be in its original condition. If you change your mind after using the product or opening the packaging, we will not be able to return or refund your purchase.
If goods are proven faulty, we will provide a replacement free of charge under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
No Tolerance Policy Regarding Fraud
We will report credit card fraud to the relevant authorities of any attempted fraudulent order. Credit Card fraud in particular is a crime that is being committed daily over the internet.
Price Matching
If you've found a better price on the same product at another retailer, we can match it under the following terms & conditions:
- Product must be exactly the same SKU or barcode.
- Product must be in stock with the competitor at the time of compare.
- Excludes freight which may be an additional cost.
- The item can be on sale but not a damaged or clearance item.
- All price matching is at the discretion of Van Dyks and is subject to change at any time.

- Digital Payments: We accept Google Payments online
- Cash Payments: We accept cash payments in store at all stores.
- Afterpay: We accept Afterpay online and in store. Available for purchases between $0.00 and $1,999.00.
- Zip Pay: We accept Zip Pay online and in store. Minimum purchase $50.00, Maximum purchase $5,000.00.
- No paperwork, no hassles, just Q: We accept Q Card online and in store. This option allows you to pay using your Q Card. Apply now. T&Cs apply *.
- Farmlands Card: We accept Farmlands Card in store only.
- Gem (Latitude Financial Services): We accept Gem payments in store only.
